Refund Policy
This Refund Policy applies to engagements with Fit Guy Next Door Ventures Private Limited (operating as Project Scale Up). It explains how we handle refund requests for the services you have engaged us for.
Summary: Refund eligibility is evaluated on a case-by-case basis at the sole discretion of Project Scale Up. We aim to be fair, transparent, and reasonable in every decision. The following sections explain the principles we apply.
1. Nature of Our Services
Project Scale Up delivers customized video-led growth services to fitness coaches and wellness brands. Each engagement involves dedicated strategy sessions, custom content creation, scripting, production, and team time that begin immediately upon agreement.
Because our work is bespoke and resource-intensive from day one, refunds are not automatic. We evaluate each request on its merits.
2. Refund Eligibility
You may submit a refund request in writing if you believe the engagement has not been delivered as agreed. We will consider:
- Whether the service was substantially delivered as defined in your service agreement
- The portion of work completed at the time of the request
- Whether timelines or scope were affected by you (delays in providing assets, feedback, or approvals)
- Any documented service issues, missed deliverables, or quality concerns
- The fairness of any partial refund based on completed vs. uncompleted work
3. Refund Process
Step 1: Contact us
Email hello@projectscaleup.in within 30 days of the disputed payment with:
- Your full name, business name, and engagement reference
- Date and amount of the payment in question
- A clear description of the issue
- Any supporting context (emails, missed deliverables, etc.)
Step 2: Review
We will acknowledge receipt within 3 business days and review your request. We may request additional information, schedule a call, or propose a resolution that doesn't involve a refund (e.g., revised deliverables, scope adjustment, credit toward a different service).
Step 3: Decision
We aim to communicate a decision within 14 business days of receiving complete information. Decisions will be documented in writing.
Step 4: If approved
Approved refunds will be processed within 7-10 business days to the original payment method via Cashfree Payments. Refunds may take an additional 3-5 business days to reflect in your account, depending on your bank or card issuer.
GST collected on a refunded amount will also be refunded as per applicable GST law. Bank-side processing fees, payment gateway charges, or transaction costs (typically 1-3% of the original amount) may be deducted from the refund where applicable.
4. Non-Refundable Items
The following are generally not eligible for refund:
- Token / booking amounts paid to reserve a slot, once delivery has commenced
- Completed deliverables (videos, scripts, strategy documents) that have been shared, used, or approved
- Time and resources already invested in your engagement (research, strategy calls, scripting time, edit time)
- Third-party costs incurred on your behalf (ad spend, software subscriptions, talent fees, etc.)
- Custom services where work is substantially complete
5. Cancellation by Client
If you wish to cancel an ongoing engagement, please notify us in writing at hello@projectscaleup.in. Specific cancellation terms — including notice periods and any refund of unused fees — are described in your individual service agreement.
6. Cancellation by Project Scale Up
We reserve the right to terminate an engagement and issue a pro-rated refund of unused fees if:
- You breach the terms of your service agreement
- You engage in unprofessional conduct toward our team
- You repeatedly fail to provide assets, feedback, or approvals required to deliver the service
- Continuing the engagement would compromise our ability to deliver high-quality work
7. Chargebacks and Disputes
We strongly encourage clients to contact us first if there is any dissatisfaction. Initiating a chargeback or payment dispute without prior good-faith communication may result in suspension of services and additional administrative charges.
If a chargeback is filed, we will share documented evidence of services delivered with the payment processor.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may revise this Refund Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the latest revision. Refund requests are evaluated under the policy in effect at the time the payment was made.
